Ronald De Boer deu uma entrevista à BBC onde fala sobre a relação dos jogadores holandeses com a sua selecção e de como, na maior parte das vezes, o orgulho pela mesma, pelo país, não joga grandemente em seu favor, isto é, em favor da conquista de troféus. Precisamente, aí está algo que me agrada. Mais um motivo para serem estes tipos os meus homens. Os holandeses põem em prática as sábias palavras de Valdano, quando este afirma que «o futebol é a mais importante das coisas sem importância». Nem mais. Hup Holland Hup!
